Correcting the SQL errors when installing

description

I'm so glad someone has picked this project up and is running with it, I was hugely impressed with the Q&A module the first time I tried DNN (about 18 months back). Having just got back into to creating a site on the DNN platform I was sad to see it was no longer "officially" supported but can't wait to try this fork. Which brings me to the issue I encountered:

Cause:
Using an object qualifier in SQL breaks the 01.02.00 install.

Solution:
01.02.00.SqlDataProvider
The '{databaseOwner}' and '{objectQualifier}' are being appended to the sysobjects table, doing a find '{databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}sys.objects' and replace 'sys.objects' solved the issue.

01.02.00.SqlDataProvider & Uninstall.SqlDataProvider
{databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}[SP or Function name], the square brackets either need removing or move the opening bracket to before the {objectQualifier}. Find '{objectQualifier}[' and replace '[{objectQualifier}' is easiest.

Are you sure this is version 1.2?
I installed it it is exactly the normal version of DNNQA?

Just checking: When I installed the latest version of this project on my new DNN 7.3.4 instance, it worked without any issues. So it looks like this is maybe already fixed? If so, can someone close this please?

Hi Jashan,

If it's not showing as an issue then it's probably because you configured DNN to use Object Qualifiers. This fix was only for people who customised their DNN setup.

Ah, cool - thanks for the clarification!
