ROADMAP 2013

description

Hello,

Attached is the draft Roadmap. I haven't had the time to fine tune and it organize it exactly as I like, but it should get the gist across. I'm posting this as an issue for now, since issues support attachments until I find a better format of managing the roadmap.

The codeplex issue tracker is not bad, but it's probably best to leave it for bug tracking and enhancement demands, rather than to post 30 features demands and plan them? What are your thoughts?

I tried to assemble most of the features that are lacking in this module and trying to stay close to "best practice' Q&A format that I've seen on Stack, Atlassian Answers, MSDN Forum, MVP, Yahoo Answers and a few others. There are common trends... but in every example I saw there's always a few features missing and few 'unique' perks present.

Looking forward to your comments.

be back from vacation on 1 sept.

Thanks
Gregory

Hi Gregory,
Looking good. Except for the format. Not really sure it will be easy to manage the roadmap if its in a spreadsheet and you want people to comment individual items. Personally I think that individual issues will be better. What would be the problem in using Codeplex issues,, as long as you categorizes them correctly?

This is a draft. Of course spreadsheet is not a format.
That's what I meant when I said "I'm posting this as an issue for now, since issues support attachments until I find a better format of managing the roadmap."

I'll be leaning towards JIRA

Ok. But how would you like us to comment on this for now?

And what is JIRA? Sorry for my ignorance, but this is my first "online-development" project!

Erik and Mariette and @ALL, are you still interested in talking about the roadmap?

Tinkering with Q&A for some time I'd say we could some minor releases :
-improve css issues
-correct some bugs
-make some quickwin improvements
