I'm anxiously awaiting a production release version . . . . when do you think that might happen?

Not yet planned. But the release version will only fix some broken links. Nothing major change will happen to break anything from this version, and if you are interested, you can use it on the production environment as well.

Anxiously waiting on the next release, any ideas when? Looking forward to the badges option.

Great work!

It seems that everyone is optimistic, and short on time. Can anyone speak to any progress. The more 7.2 + releases, the more functions are dropping out of our version 6 Q&A. Would money help move this along?

Guys am a bit busy with my office work and not finding time to work on this. Will soon be back.

Unless of the new versions are really important I suggest wait.

I think this project is going to be classed as dead by everyone soon if we do not see any progress. The great momentum and energy that was here is quickly dying off. Can we maybe put this out there to volunteers who would be up for taking over or assisting on the project?

Hi Guys - This is Chad from Data Springs (www.datasprings.com). We are planning to release a commercial version of this product shortly called Dynamic Voice... Simply put, there are enhancements and support for new versions of DNN along with responsive capabilities that I don't think have enough momentum or time to get handled for free and we plan to be a resource that can offer a paid solution to assist in users wanting those. We will offer a significant discount to any users here.

If you have any questions please reach me here:

We are also using the product here:

Indeed, the summer momentum has left us... And the module is aging quickly.
We really need to pick this up,
Unless I'm mistaken starting with the 7.1, it's no longer searchable... (at least it's not detected by the dnnsearch on my test site)

This post sheds light into the issue and sounds like an easy change to make

anyone out there to give it a try ?

Hey Chad,

I think a commercial version of this module sounds very interesting, we are using your registration module and it has worked out well for us. Given the amount of customer facing functionality that we would be exposing with a module like this and the size / nature of the site we couldn't implement it without maintaining a backup of the source.

I believe you are offering source with some of your modules, do you know yet if you will offer a source license with this new commercial module? If so we would be willing to provide some structured testing on the new product, if you need it.

Hi Steven - Yes, as with all of our modules there is an option to purchase the package with source code. The entire purpose and reasoning behind us bringing this to the marketplace is really to also ensure that we have financial means to actually have our staff spend time supporting it, enhancing it, and so forth... Right now I believe the problem is that without any financial incentive it is likely that this will stay dead for some time (even with the best intentions in mind, this is just reality because we are all very busy). We plan to have the first release out by May.

Thanks,

Chad
